Jack and the bartender

Une nuit, Jack se rend dans un pub, l'air très triste.

One night Jack walked into a pub, looking very sad.

Barman : Que voulez-vous boire aujourd'hui ?

Bartender: What would you like to drink today?

Jack : Une bouteille de bière.

Jack: Just a bottle of beer.

Barman : Qu'est-ce qui se passe ? Pourquoi êtes-vous si triste aujourd'hui ?

Bartender: What's wrong? Why are you so sad today?

Jack : Ma femme et moi, nous nous sommes disputés et elle a dit qu'elle ne me parlerait plus pendant un mois.

Jack: My wife and I got into a fight, and she said she wouldn't talk to me for a month.

Barman : C'est génial, non ?

Bartender: That's great, isn't it?

Jack : Ouais ! Mais aujourd'hui, c'est le dernier jour du mois !

Jack: Yeah! But today is the last day of the month!
