There is a sick lady upstairs

Jack est pianiste et répète tard un soir.

Jack is a pianist and is practicing late one night.

On frappe à sa porte et en l'ouvrant, il voit le propriétaire.

There is a knock on the door, when he opens it his landlord is standing outside the door.

Celui-ci demande : "Avez-vous entendu qu'il y a une femme malade dans l'appartement du dessus ?"

He asks: "Do you know there is a sick lady upstairs?"

Jack répond : "Non, je n'ai jamais entendu cette chanson. Pouvez-vous me la fredonner, s'il vous plaît ?"

Jack answered: "No, I haven't heard that song. Can you please hum it a little?"
