Une bègue célèbre

Famous Stutterer

(A married couple sit at the breakfast table)

Wife: What are you reading darling?

Le mari : Un article sur le bégaiement.

Husband: An article about stuttering.

L'épouse : Vraiment ? Ton cousin bégaie un peu, non ?

Wife: Really? Your cousin stutters a bit too, right?

Husband: Not really. He is just a bit shy. In the article it mentions that some genes that increase the risk of stuttering have been identified.

L'épouse : Ça ne m'intéresse pas.

Wife: Sounds like useless information to me.

Husband: Did you know that Marilyn Monroe was a stutterer?

L'épouse : Vraiment ? J'adore ses films !

Wife: Really? I love her films!

Husband: Me too. Let's go to the video store and get a movie with her!
